Welcome To My Blog - What You Will Find

Welcome to WELL Into Your 30’s blog and website. My name is David Keogh or as some of my clients like to call me, “Coach” Keogh.

I have been working in the fitness industry for over 11 years now, after making the biggest decision of my life to quit my career working on the tools as a Fitter & Turner in Mackay (North Queensland), sell up and move to Brisbane to pursue personal training.

Transitioning to being self-employed was one of the hardest things I’d ever done, especially not knowing anything about running my own business but I knew this is where I was supposed to be and helping people was what I was meant to be doing. It was a massive change, which was completely out of my comfort zone yet easily the best decision of my life. I’ve learnt so much on this journey and have had the pleasure of meeting and helping some truly amazing people.

These days I am married and have two gorgeous little girls who I couldn’t be prouder of. In the short time that I have been a Father, it has tested me more than anything else, and taught so much me. Becoming more patient, and less selfish two big lessons. Probably the biggest challenge has been managing my stress and anxiety levels as you seem to spend a lot of time worrying that they are okay. Being a Father has meant my health and wellness goals along with my business goals have taken on a deeper meaning, and ultimately what has been the biggest catalyst for me to start WELL Into Your 30’s

What I’ve found with most of my clients is that their main goals are to have more energy, to lose a bit of weight from their stomach and to decrease their stress levels. All of this can become a lot harder in your thirties as the responsibilities and pressures of life increase. The key is to take action early and that is the purpose of this blog and my business. To help educate and support people so they can take steps to counter these pressures and live a healthier, happier life.

You won’t find any kind of quick fix, faddy, miracle cure to your challenges. I am here to try my best to help you MOVE, THINK & FEEL better and that will be what you can expect to see in this blog.

I will be providing articles, thoughts and advice on the following:

  • Mindset and positivity
  • Physical activity
  • Nutrition guidance
  • Recipes
  • Motivation & inspiration
  • Stress management

The only way for me to grow is to gain feedback, so if there’s anything you would like more of please let me know. ANY constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated.
